It’s summertime, it’s time for events<\/strong> not to be missed in Genoa<\/strong> and in Liguria<\/strong>. Let’s see where we can point the bow of our boat for a sail to discover the Ligurian sea and its coastlines, as well as the many festivals that begin to enliven the villages and coastal towns during the summer period. <\/span><\/p>\n

The ideal starting point is from the dock of Marina Porto Antico<\/strong>, a facility dedicated to pleasure boats equipped with all services and located in front of Genoa’s historic center and very close to all the necessary infrastructure to fully enjoy the city’s beauty.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Let’s begin with a delicious food and wine event scheduled from Friday, June 7 to Saturday, June 8 in Celle Ligure; we’re talking about Acciugalonga<\/strong>, a traveling event dedicated to good cuisine that centers its dishes around a true star of Genoese tradition: the anchovy. During Acciugalonga, the many and varied anchovy-based recipes will be offered by bars, restaurants, and the many delicatessen shops present in the small coastal village; a true opportunity not to be missed for lovers of sailing, the sea, and good cuisine. The event promoted by Consorzio Promotur, with the patronage of the Municipality of Celle Ligure, begins at 6 PM on Friday, June 7 and counts on the participation of 30 establishments distributed throughout the center and along the waterfront, so that participants can discover the streets of the Village of Celle Ligure anchovy by anchovy. If before indulging in the pleasures of good cuisine you want to spend a few hours at sea, we recommend mooring your boat at Porto Turistico Cala Crevieu and then heading toward Spiaggia Lungomare Crocetta, which stretches along the waterfront and is characterized by a clean and well-maintained beach of soft gray\/golden sand. The sea that characterizes this stretch of water is crystal clear. <\/span><\/p>\n

Organized by Pro Loco, Belli e Fritti is an aperitif featuring: fish fries, cucculi and panissa, characterized by the quintessential summer cocktail, the Spritz. Frying begins at 6:30 PM and after the meal, music will take center stage thanks to a DJ set that will touch on the most danceable musical genres of summer from funk to soul to black music. Some stations on the beach offer holistic activities focused on relaxation from 6:30 PM (yoga, foot self-massage, henna tattoos and other surprises) before giving way to the musical crescendo. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Classic car enthusiasts, on the other hand, cannot miss the appointment with Classic Cars<\/strong>, the event dedicated to vintage cars scheduled from Saturday, June 8 to Sunday, June 9 at the dock of Marina di Varazze, the place where Mediterranean vegetation meets the sea, providing the event with a suggestive setting. The best vehicles will be awarded based on standards established by ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano). A noteworthy element that can influence the final evaluations will also regard the clothing of the drivers of the cars participating in the event, who must dress thematically, perhaps wearing some vintage racing attire. The most evocative moment will surely be the parade of vehicles through the town’s streets. It should be noted that the Varazze sea has won the Blue Flag four times in the last four years, so after the vintage car parade we invite you to spend a few hours at the suggestive part of the coastline called “La secca,” an area populated by those who practice water sports like kitesurfing and surfing. <\/span><\/p>\n
