The summer season is just around the corner: marinas<\/strong> like our tourist port of Genoa<\/strong> are becoming increasingly populated, and boat berth reservations<\/a> are now necessary to ensure a mooring<\/strong> for your vessel. And certainly, with the start of the bathing season, our Liguria<\/g> becomes even more of a destination for many boaters, from those in Italy to those coming from abroad. To relax on the beaches<\/strong> of the Ligurian Riviera<\/strong>, to sail along the coast<\/strong>, to discover the beauty and culture of Genoa<\/strong> or the stunning landscape of this unique territory, or to be tempted by the rich gastronomic tradition<\/strong>. But that’s not all, as in Liguria and Genoa, with the start of summer, events multiply: we have therefore summarized the events scheduled for June 2023 in Genoa and Liguria<\/strong>, to best plan your boating outings<\/strong> (and more) in the coming weeks. <\/p>\n

\nEvents in Genoa in June 2023: what to do in the city<\/strong><\/p>\n

Paganini Genoa Festival 2023, from May 27 to June 4:<\/strong> the festival dedicated to the great musician returns to the city, with 9 days of music, conferences, and events, all centered at the Oratorio San Filippo Neri, where Paganini held his first concert.<\/p>\n

Pontedecimo Spring Festival, from June 9 to June 10:<\/strong> it’s not yet summer, and the Pontedecimo neighborhood knows it well. Thus, the district celebrates the beautiful season with music and street food. <\/p>\n

Ocean Live Park, from June 24 to July 2:<\/strong> the Levante Waterfront is preparing to host the boats of the 14th edition of the Ocean Race (which will conclude for the first time in Italy on June 24) as well as the historic boats that have participated in the world’s most famous regatta in the past. There will also be two coastal races, the Pro-AMo and the In-Port-Races. In short, a calendar full of events for sailing enthusiasts, not far from our Marina Porto Antico tourist port.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Nervi Music Ballet Festival 2023, from June 28 to July 31:<\/strong> dancers, orchestras, conductors, and soloists return this year to the Parks of Nervi in Genoa, to stage 9 different performances, including some world premieres and unique Italian dates.<\/p>\n

Tezenis Summer Festival in Genoa, on June 30:<\/strong> while the Waterfront will be bustling with the arrival of The Ocean Race, in Piazza Ferrari (about a 15-minute walk from our tourist port) there will be a large concert<\/strong> featuring artists like Achille Lauro, Elettra Lamborghini, Francesca Michielin, Tananai, and many others.<\/p>\n

What to do in Liguria in June 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

Festival della Parola in Chiavari, from June 1 to June 4:<\/strong> the appointment in Chiavari is with the tenth edition of this successful festival, with the keyword \u201c\u00bfRi(e)voluzione?\u201d. The schedule includes concerts, exhibitions, interviews, and talks. <\/p>\n

Anchovy Festival in Teriasca, from June 1 to June 3:<\/strong> in Teriasca, in the municipality of Sori, 3 days dedicated to anchovies, fried or in the traditional bagnun, with other typical Ligurian dishes, from trofie with pesto and beyond.<\/p>\n

Forte dei Marmi Market in Moneglia, on June 2:<\/strong> Italy’s trendiest tour stops in Moneglia, always showcasing the best of artisanal production, from footwear to bags, to the famous cashmere garments.<\/p>\n

Andersen Festival in Sestri Levante, from June 8 to June 18:<\/strong> since 1967, the famous literary competition \u201cPremio Andersen \u2013 Baia delle Favole\u201d has been held, and this year the Festival returns, with the city of Sestri Levante transforming into a magical and surprising place, with a calendar full of cultural events and performances.<\/p>\n
