In Genoa, which a few weeks ago became the world sailing capital during the Ocean Race<\/a>, the highly anticipated International Boat Show<\/strong> returns, an unmissable and iconic event for our city, for sea enthusiasts, and of course for the global boating market. A celebration, a historic event, a platform for technical, market, and institutional exchange that finds its ideal location in Genoa. This is due to our city’s relationship with the sea, its connection to the nautical sector, and the importance always recognized in the maritime economy, an essential element of Liguria’s territorial development as a whole. The dates to mark in your calendar \u2013 though we’re sure most interested parties have already done so \u2013 are from September 21st to 26th<\/g>, for a 63rd edition that promises to be full of innovations and points of interest. Making the Genoa International Boat Show<\/strong> special once again will be, among other things, the new features of the former Trade Fair location, within the new Waterfront di Levante<\/strong>, the many innovations<\/strong> presented by exhibitors, as well as the fourth edition of the Design Innovation Award<\/strong>. <\/p>

The 2022 edition counted a total of 1,000 boats on display<\/strong> and almost 1,000 brands exhibiting, numbers that should increase further this year, thanks also to 150 new berths available at the Show. It all began back in 1962<\/g>, with the first Genoa Boat Show already boasting 430 exhibitors; who, it’s worth noting, all opted for dry-land boat displays, convinced that the hulls would appear larger and more appealing when placed in special cradles. The boating world has changed enormously since then, and the Genoa International Boat Show has always been ready to showcase and highlight every single evolution and innovation: let’s look at what will make this new edition special! <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The New Waterfront Di Levante and the 63rd Edition of the Genoa Show<\/strong><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Genoa International Boat Show is, as always, a unique opportunity to admire sailboats, boats<\/a> with motors, inflatable boats, outboard motors, yachts, and everything related to the nautical world, knowing that it’s the only international show<\/strong> of its kind in Italy. That said, the Genoa Show is also a standalone event, which this year presents itself in a somewhat different guise. The location will be Piazzale John Fitzgerald Kennedy<\/strong>, with the Genoa Fair utilizing the available spaces and architecture of the new Waterfront di Levante, designed by the renowned architect Renzo Piano<\/strong> \u2013 the Genoese architect has already left his mark in his hometown with the restoration of the Old Port, Piazza delle Feste, the Bigo, the Isola delle Chiatte, the Biosfera, and so on. Thus, the upcoming Genoa Show will feature a new exhibition area alongside the Blue Pavilion. The work on the new Waterfront is almost complete: it’s expected to be fully finished in 2024, with the delivery of the residential units included in the project. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
