To be precise, we know that the first day of summer 2024 will be June 20. But let’s face it: practically everyone just needs to leave May behind to feel already in the summer season, made of days to spend at the beach<\/g> and especially boat trips<\/g>, for short coastal excursions<\/g> or important cruises<\/g> in our fantastic Mediterranean. And certainly there is no shortage of interesting excursions or crossings to make from our tourist marina in Genoa<\/strong>: it’s no coincidence that our berths<\/strong> are becoming increasingly populated, with many boaters using our online tool for berth reservations in Genoa<\/a> to secure mooring space for June, July and August! Moreover, we’re not only talking about the beauty of the Ligurian coasts and the centers of our region: in June, many events for locals as well as tourists will make our land even more interesting, starting with local festivals. Here then is a list of events in Genoa and Liguria for June 2024! <\/p>\n\n

Events in Genoa in June 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

All of June:<\/strong> there is truly no shortage of sporting events in Genoa this year: our city is indeed the European Capital of Sport 2024<\/strong>! In June there will therefore be among other sporting events the Orienteering World Cup stage, the FIP national circuit 3×3 Basketball Open, the start of the Nastro Rosa sailing tour and the arrival of the Loro Piana Giraglia<\/a>. And also, still in June we have the TPRA National Tennis Masters, the International Hockey Trophy under the Lanterna, the Italian Junior Cycling Championship and the International Dance Festival. <\/p>\n\n

Until June 2, Genoa Street Food Fest 2024:<\/strong> started on May 29, a celebration featuring savory and sweet offerings, bringing together 35 local excellences in the name of easy, fast, and good food. All in the Porto Antico area, just steps away from the berths of our tourist marina in Genoa! <\/p>\n\n

June 2, Palazzi Svelati:<\/strong> on the occasion of Republic Day, Palazzi Svelati returns, with the exceptional opening of Genoese institutional palaces.<\/p>\n\n

June 2, Fiera di Stuppa<\/strong>: the Va Bisagno neighborhood celebrates, to enhance its long agricultural past.<\/p>\n\n

From June 5 to 26, Carruggi Medievali:<\/strong> every Wednesday in June it will be possible to participate in a guided tour to discover unusual architectural features and hidden medieval motifs in the city.<\/p>\n\n

Thursday June 13, Conference<\/strong> “Following the footsteps of Charlemagne’s elephant. Itineraries between Genoa and the Po Valley in the Early Middle Ages”: at Palazzo Ducale the last conference of the cycle “Traces for a history of the medieval city”.<\/p>\n\n

From June 28, Porto Antico Estate Spettacolo 2024<\/strong>: all around our tourist marina in Genoa the 25th edition of Estate Spettacolo takes place, with music, theater and cabaret events. It opens on June 28 and 29 at Arena del Mare with Biagio Antonacci. <\/p>\n\n

Until June 30, Origames<\/strong>: started on May 20, Origames will last throughout the month of June, featuring giant designer origami. In total there are 8 works, displayed in the Shopping Center and in the Fiumara Entertainment Center. <\/p>\n\n

June 2, Infiorate:<\/strong> carpets of colored petals enrich Ligurian cities. In 2023 the squares that will be colored with many different hues will be those of Imperia, Diano Marina, Diano Calderina, Brugnato and Ranzi, a hamlet of Pietra Ligure. <\/p>\n\n
