Weeks ago, for the section dedicated to boat itineraries<\/strong> from our marina in the center of Genoa<\/a><\/strong>, we proposed a great classic, namely the navigation from Genoa to Camogli<\/a>. Today we want to take you a bit further, to discover places accessible only by sea \u2013 or on foot, along scenic paths \u2013 as they are not connected by any road artery. Those familiar with the Ligurian territory or the surroundings of Genoa have probably already guessed: we are talking about San Fruttuoso di Camogli,<\/strong> a small cove that hosts a few houses, a tower, and an abbey, all surrounded by the crystal-clear sea and the lush nature of the Ligurian Riviera. <\/p>\n\n

Here we will see the boat itinerary from Genoa to San Fruttuoso<\/strong>, and then illustrate the beauties of this small \u2013 yet dense \u2013 bay east of our city.<\/p>\n\n

The bay of San Fruttuoso is just 13.5 nautical miles<\/strong> from our marina in Genoa:<\/strong> after leaving the moorings of our marina and exiting the port, skirting the long breakwater, you proceed along beauties such as Boccadasse, Vernazzola, and Nervi, then head towards Camogli: after rounding the unmistakable rocky tongue of Punta Chiappa<\/strong>, you sail at a distance from the rocky coast \u2013 enjoying the view of the Hermit’s Cave and, shortly after, the Saracen Tower \u2013 to finally arrive inside the bay of San Fruttuoso. <\/p>\n\n

Here, awaiting sailors, are two mooring fields:<\/strong> on the eastern side, small boats can find a place, while on the other side there are buoys for the mooring of larger vessels<\/a>. As we always remind those departing for San Fruttuoso from our marina in Genoa, during this approach, it is important to pay great attention to the area of the Christ of the Abyss,<\/strong> marked by buoys, at a short distance from the mooring field for small boats. <\/p>\n\n
