Anyone planning a <a href=\"https:\/\/marinaportoantico.it\/en\/tips-for-a-peaceful-cruise-a-little-attention-makes-all-the-difference\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"27099\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cruise<\/a> knows all too well how important it is<strong> to reduce weight and bulk on board: because <\/strong>available space is far from infinite, to keep the boat tidy, to avoid compromising comfort, and because as the weight increases, so does <strong>fuel consumption<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Below, we\u2019ll look at some tips for optimizing storage on a boat.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Organize cargo stowage strategically and safely<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Among the <strong>berths<\/strong> at our <a href=\"https:\/\/marinaportoantico.it\/en\/\" type=\"page\" id=\"6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">marina in Genoa<\/a>, we see boaters every day using a wide variety of strategies and techniques to organize their stowage efficiently. In fact, especially when setting out on a cruise <strong>,<\/strong> people tend to bring far <strong>too much food<\/strong> on board <strong>,<\/strong> risking chaos on the boat. Keeping in mind that the <strong>best ports <\/strong>always <strong>have <\/strong> <strong>stores where you can <\/strong>stock up on provisions, the advice is always to create a customized meal plan for the trip so you bring only what you need on board.  <\/p>\n\n<p>That said, a great habit for reducing clutter in the galley is to <strong>get rid of packaging right away ( <\/strong>making a note of the expiration dates elsewhere if necessary) and use the waste collection services at your home marina, which also helps you avoid having to deal with extra trash during the crossing.
