Poets and Heroes Exhibition, From Brush to Sword, March 29 – October 6: at the Edoardo Chiossone Museum of Oriental Art
you can visit an exhibition dedicated to the male figure
in Japanese art, starting from two central figures, namely the scholar and the warrior.
Guided tour of the Secret Passages of Castello d’Albertis, April 1st: as you will see in
this list of events to do in Genoa, Easter Monday holds many pleasant
surprises. It starts for example with the guided tour of the Secret Passages of Castello d’Albertis,
which houses among other things an underground passage commissioned by Captain Enrico
d’Albertis himself
Traditional Angel Fair in Molassana, April 1st: the Genoese neighborhood on
Easter Monday transforms with the traditional fair, featuring about 90 stalls of goods and food products
of all kinds.
Olive oil market exhibition in Moneglia, April 1st: the oil market exhibition has reached its 41st edition
with Corso Longhi hosting stands for direct sales of extra virgin olive oil
, olive pâté, olives in brine and so on, moving on to
distribution of focaccia from Moneglia bakers, wine tasting and so
forth.
Cargo Market at Albergo dei Poveri, April 6-7: the eighth edition of
Genova Cargo Market returns over two days, featuring craftsmanship, creativity and sustainability, with exhibitors but
also music, yoga lessons, talks and street food.
Porto Antico Verde 2024, April 6-7: the market exhibition favored by gardening
and vegetable garden enthusiasts, just steps from the Aquarium and our tourist marina in Genoa, among
flowers, fruit plants and seeds.
Genoa Half Marathon, April 14: the appointment with the half marathon returns in the
Ligurian capital, with start and finish always here, near our marina in Genoa. Three
routes available to athletes, namely the 31-kilometer half marathon, the 13-kilometer Corrigenova
and finally the 3-kilometer Family Run.
Book fair, spring edition, April 26 – May 16, historic events: in Piazza Matteotti takes
place the spring edition of the fair that has been held in Genoa since 1926.
Santa Zita Fair, April 28: the Borgo Pila neighborhood returns to celebrate Santa Zita, a
cult closely connected with Genoese commercial tradition and in particular with the
presence of a community of Lucchese merchants since the Middle Ages. Almost 200
stalls will be present.
Events continue
The same sky, art and environment in Diano Marina, from March 23 to May 4: Palazzo del Parco
hosts a selection of works by four internationally renowned artists (Pablo Atchugarry, Keita
Miyazaki, Dagoberto Rodríguez and Yuken Teruya) with a creative dialogue between Latin American
culture and Oriental culture.
Riviera delle Palme Market in Cogoleto, April 7: with the arrival of spring the Riviera delle Palme Market returns
, which on Sunday April 7 stops in Cogoleto (after starting on March 31 from
Savona).
Rea Palus Race in Rapallo, April 6: the obstacle race in Rapallo returns for the ninth time, which
this year is enriched with new obstacles, such as the unicycle.
National Festival of Cooking with Flowers in Alassio, April 12 – 15: a fair that aims to
best showcase the gastronomic aspect of flowers, enhancing local products.
Sol&Vento Spring Energy in Imperia, April 13-14: this 2024 edition is the 23rd edition
of the international kite festival, which will bring kites from every nation along the coast of
Borgo Marina di Imperia.
