Wednesday, November 1: We start with the All Saints’ Day holiday, which sees the main Genoese Museums open to the public. This includes the Museums of Strada Nuova, Castello d’Albertis, the Risorgimento Museum, the Museum of Oriental Art, the Natural History Museum, Galata Maritime Museum (just a 5-minute walk from the boat slips of our Genoa marina), the Gallery of Modern Art, and so on.
Until November 3, Coral Imprints: from October 30 to November 3, as part of the Off Festival, the Benzi Library offers an in-depth look with videos, stories, and interviews on red gold, that is, on the coral so important to Genoa’s past.
Saturday, November 4, Visionary Days 2023: at the Cotton Warehouses, not far from our Tourist Port of Genoa, the event that attracts thousands of young minds from all over the country to Genoa returns to shape the future, with monologues and brainstorming sessions.
Until November 5, Festival of Science: The Festival of Science in Genoa started on October 26 and will end on November 5, revolving this year around the keyword “imprints“. In total, there are 250 events scheduled, taking place in 35 different locations, with 300 guests overall. The meetings will be dedicated to astrophysics, cosmology, archaeological sciences, genetics, ecology, and so on.
Thursday, November 9, Matters of Etiquette: as part of the “Fashion Afternoons” series of meetings, dedicated to the history of fashion starting from some iconic pieces preserved in the textile collection of Palazzo Reale, a seminar at Palazzo Spinola dedicated to the concept of etiquette and branding in history.
From November 16, Artemisia Gentileschi, Courage and Passion: from November 16 at Palazzo Ducale, an exhibition dedicated to the life of the famous painter, tragic and full of twists, opens. Over 50 of her masterpieces will be on display.

All November, “Itadakimasu”: until January 28, Palazzo della Meridiana hosts the exhibition “Itadakimasu. Small Hidden Stories in Anime Cuisine,” an exhibition that explores the relationship between culture, animation, and gastronomic pleasures in Japanese tradition.
November 2023 Events: What to Do in Liguria
Until November 1, in Loano: The “Loano as Hogwarts” festival starts on October 28 and ends on November 1, immersing the Ligurian village in the legendary world of Harry Potter. The town will be divided into 4 zones, each dedicated to one of the Harry Potter houses, namely Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff, with a program rich in events.
Saturday, November 11 and Saturday, November 25, Sarzana: there are two November appointments with the Lunae Musica Festival. Saturday 11 will feature the Simone Molinaro Ensemble in “Folksongs and 20th Century Cinema,” in the Council Chamber of the town hall, while on the 25th it will be the turn of “Jubilate Deo – Baroque Music in Venice and Naples” by the Lunaensemble, at the Oratory of Santa Croce in Sarzana
Sunday, November 12, Quiliano: the village of Quiliano puts Ligurian wine back in the spotlight with “Granaccia and Reds of Liguria,” now in its 18th edition. This includes tastings, masterclasses, and stalls for sales.
