Staglieno of Wonders, March 2: guided and narrated visit to the Monumental Cemetery of Staglieno, which features famous burials and unmissable monuments, but above all fascinating stories.

Street Tour: from Bronx to Certosa, March 3: the Certosa district of Genoa in recent years, thanks to the On The Wall and Pintada projects, has been enriched with colorful murals: why not set off for a guided tour to discover them?

Steve McCurry, Children, until March 10: until March 10, at the Sottoporticato of Palazzo Ducale, McCurry’s photographs are on display, one of the most beloved photographers of all time; the exhibition revolves around a theme very dear to the artist, namely the universe of children.

Artemisia Gentileschi, until April 1: for a few more weeks at Palazzo Ducale, the masterpieces of one of the most beloved artists are on display.

Tutankhamun: the tomb, the treasure, the curse, until June 2: during these months at Porta Siberia, just minutes from our marina in Genoa, it is possible to visit an exhibition dedicated to the greatest archaeological discovery of the century (an exhibition that is touring the world, and which is currently stopping in our city).

Events in Liguria: what to do in March 2024

Marchesato Trail, March 3, Finalborgo: among cliffs and caves, the Marchesato Trail route starts from Finalborgo, runs just steps from the coast and reaches Finale Ligure. The most challenging route is 60 kilometers long, with 3,000 meters of elevation gain; the other is 38 kilometers, while the shortest is 16 kilometers, with 1,000 meters of elevation gain.

Ponente in Rosa Trophy, March 5-8, Diano Marina: Diano Marina will be at the center of the sporting event, for a women’s cycling challenge over three stages: from Bordighera to Pietra Ligure, from Diano Marina to Diano Marina (with climbs to Monte Pagliassa, San Damiano and Testico and Colle San Bartolomeo) and third stage from Marina degli Aregai to Diano Marina.

Wind Festival, March 9 and 10, Spotorno: kite flyers from all over Europe will arrive in Spotorno, but not only. Special guests will be masters from Vietnam, with master Quan Hang Cao presenting exceptional works to the public, including costumes and games from his native country. In total there will be about 130 kite flyers.

Agri-food Fair, March 8-10, Finalborgo: the event will feature 200 exhibitors as well as 30 side events, all in the magnificent medieval village of Finalborgo. An event aimed at gourmets, tourists and curious people who want to discover the best Ligurian agri-food productions.

Milan – Sanremo, March 16: the classic race that marks the start of the international competitive calendar returns, with cyclists racing on the Aurelia to reach Sanremo.

3rd regional Paralympic sailing championship “Hansa 303” class, March 16 and 17, Andora: the new regional championship begins with the first inaugural stage in Andora, then moves to Santa Margherita and Chiavari in April, as well as Savona and Genoa in May, and finally La Spezia in September.
