Can we say it? Can we say it: it’s time to return to the sea! With spring, winter storage
comes to its natural conclusion, and boaters return to their preferred
the new boating season. And we at the Genoa marina are obviously ready to welcome our
loyal sailors as well as the many boats that will decide to transit through Liguria,
taking advantage of our berths. Also because in these weeks there are many
interesting events to make a visit to Genoa and the rest of the region even more exciting: here are
the main appointments for April 2025!
Events in Genoa in April 2025
Churches in Music, until May 10: the Easter edition of Churches in
Music began in mid-March, with the magic of choral singing that in April will touch the churches of San Siro Nervi, San
Matteo, the Basilica of the Annunziata del Vastato and more.
Guided tour of the third floor of the Galata Museum, April 3: just steps from the berths of our
Genoa marina, the neighbors at the Galata Sea Museum organize a special guided
tour of the third floor, in the section dedicated to 19th-century Italian historical migrations.
The Lanterna, last glimpse of Italy seen by emigrants, April 12: a conference at the Lanterna of
Genoa aimed at telling the story of the famous monument from the perspective of migrants.
Genoa Half Marathon 2025, April 13: starting just beyond our marina, in
the heart of Genoa’s Porto Antico, the half marathon organized by ASD Podistica Peraltro. Three
routes: the 21-kilometer Half Marathon, the 13-kilometer Corri Genova and
finally the 3-kilometer Family Run.
Angel Fair 2025, April 21: scheduled for Easter Monday as tradition dictates, the
fair with over one hundred stalls selling food and goods of all kinds, between largo Boccardo, Giardini G.
Falco, via Sertoli and via Isola del Vescovo.
Euroflora, from April 24 to May 4: once again this year Genoa hosts the prestigious International
Exhibition of plants and flowers, with a display that will develop along a seafront route of over 4
kilometers.
D’Oro. The Sixth Partisan Sense, from April 25 to 27: a show based on an idea by Gad
Lerner and Laura Gnocchi, performed at Teatro Ivo Chiesa to pay tribute to partisan
memory, and particularly to that of Genoa.
Spring edition of the Book Fair, from April 26 to May 15: a tent structure full of
books in Piazza Matteotti, for a cultural event that now counts almost one hundred years!
Santa Zita Fair, April 27: the fair will take place on Sunday with over 200 stalls, between piazza
Paolo da Novi, via di Santa Zita, via della Libertà, via Bianchi, via Siria and via Pisacane.
Faber’s Genoa, Musical-themed Walk: the walks in the footsteps of Fabrizio De
André through the alleys of the Old Town return, until June.
Guided tours of the Sant’Agostino deposits – The stones speak: guided tours of the Sant’Agostino Museum deposits continue throughout April, the true monumental archive of the town.
Events in Liguria in April 2025
De Chirico. Metaphysics of creation on display in Sarzana: from March 21 the Firmafede Fortress
hosts an exhibition on De Chirico, scheduled until July 21, with particular attention to the
last ten years of the artist’s life.
Fior d’Albenga: A journey into the magic of spring, from April 12 to May 4: the towered town
hosts floral installations in its medieval center. The theme of the new edition is precisely
the journey into magic.
Morandi and Fontana. Invisible and Infinite, from April 12 at CAMeC: the La Spezia museum inaugurates
an exhibition dedicated to Giorgio Morandi and Lucio Fontana, proposing a journey through art between
distant landscapes and still lifes made of Morandi’s light, and obviously between Fontana’s voids and cuts.
