May is a month full of events in Genoa and Liguria, and during these weeks our marina gradually takes on the appearance of the summer season, with increasing activity among the boat berths. Events in Genoa in May 2025
· Until May 4, Euroflora: these are the last days to discover the beauty and events of Euroflora, the International Plant and Flower Show, with its stunning 4-kilometer seafront exhibition route, featuring workshops, discussions, and much more.
· From May 1 to May 25, Book Fair: the spring edition of the famous book fair – held since 1926 – brings together book enthusiasts in Piazza Matteotti.
· May 3, Rolli Plays: guided tours, live music, and unique atmospheres make Via Garibaldi and its fantastic palaces even more beautiful, making the spring edition of Rolli Days unforgettable.
· May 4, May Fair: the traditional event in Nervi, with the historic maritime village hosting dozens of stalls.
· May 4, San Salvatore Fair: the Sampierdarena district welcomes 100 stalls, featuring various goods and sweets, with a solemn mass in the morning followed by a religious procession through the district streets.
· May 8, guided tour of the Brigantine Anna: the Galata Maritime Museum, one of our Genoa marina’s most famous neighbors, organizes a special guided tour of the brigantine reconstructed within its premises.
· May 19, Santa Rita Fair: the traditional fair returns with its stalls exclusively dedicated to selling roses in Via Della Consolazione.
· From May 23 to 25, Sports Festival: the 2025 Sports Festival will take place at Porto Antico, featuring the School Olympics, exhibitions, tournaments, official competitions, and more.
· From May 28 to June 2, Genoa Street Food Fest: the Street Food Fest will also be held in Piazza delle Feste, just steps away from our Genoa marina. This free-admission event blends flavors, aromas, traditions, and conviviality, creating a dialogue between different cultures and techniques.
· May 29, Guided tour of Villa Imperiale: a free guided tour through the halls of this fantastic Genoese villa, rich in art and history.
What to do in Liguria in May 2025
· Until May 5, FlorArt 2025 in Calice Ligure: an exhibition of floral arrangements in the evocative setting of the Casa del Console garden and the Council Chamber, featuring workshops, excursions, tastings, shows, concerts, and much more.
· May 3 and 4, Meditaggiasca – Expo Valle Argentina and Armea: a weekend discovering Taggia, its historic center, traditions, and of course its Taggiasca extra virgin olive oil, with stands, product sales, and show cooking.
· From May 9 to 11, Fish Festival in Camogli: the Feast of San Fortunato and its Fish Festival returns this year, animating the Porto and Pinetto districts and Piazza Colombo, where the world’s largest frying pan will once again be used to fry enormous quantities of fish.
· May 24 and 25, Infiorata of Pietra Ligure: the International Artistic Flower Festival “Pietra Ligure in Bloom” will welcome 800 master flower artists to create fantastic floral mosaic carpets.
· May 25, Recco Focaccia Festival: plain or with onions? The event dedicated to focaccia features tastings and a live gastronomic show, as well as workshops and folkloric exhibitions.
· May 25 and 26, MareMosto in Sestri Levante: the former Convent of the Annunziata hosts two days dedicated to conferences, tastings, and workshops focused on Ligurian wine and oil, with about 100 producers presenting their best products.
