Looking for events in February 2025? Just a few steps from our tourist marina in Genoa as well as in other parts of Liguria, even in this winter month – while waiting for the Carnival celebrations – many different events await us, including culture, entertainment, shopping, sports, and more. Here is what to do in Genoa and Liguria in February.

February 2025: events in Genoa
From March 31 to February 2, “Fair Priced Vintage”: the tour for vintage enthusiasts makes a stop at the RDS Stadium in Genoa, a paradise for collectors and more. February 1, “History of the farming traditions of Val Polcevera”: the MUCE-Museo Certosa in Genoa organizes a special visit to the museum collection of the new Certosa complex, a journey into the past through everyday objects of yesteryear. February 2, “S. Agata Fair”: the San Fruttuoso district hosts the traditional fair, linked to the saint venerated in the church of the same name.
From February 4, “Weddings – customs and traditions”: on the occasion of February 9, International Marriage Day, the Center for Cultural Training and Forensic Activities organizes a collective exhibition of various arts, focused on the customs and rituals that characterize the wedding ceremony worldwide. February 6, Biodiversity in the deep Ligurian Sea: explorations, discoveries, and vulnerabilities: a meeting dedicated to systematic investigations along the entire Ligurian arc, to discover underwater forests, canyons, fauna, as well as current and future threats and challenges for the Ligurian marine ecosystem.
Until February 7, photographic exhibition “Submerged Worlds. Underwater photos by Vincenzo Paolillo”: at the Biblioteca Civica Gallino, an exhibition dedicated to underwater environments and their fauna. February 9, “Between past and present”: a special visit to the Castello d’Albertis – Museum of World Cultures, curated by the Educational Services of Solidarity and Work. Until February 13, photographic exhibition “Motherhood Project: photographic exhibition”: the Spazio ImmaginaGenova, in Piazza Dante 39, hosts the exhibition by Alessandra Carrea inaugurated on January 23.
From February 15 to 16, Rolli Days: a new precious opportunity to visit the noble palaces of Genoa, a UNESCO heritage site just a few meters from the marina of Genoa.

February 16, “Concert for Memory”: the Jewish Community of Genoa organizes a concert of Sephardic music with the NefEsh Trio, at La Claque – Teatro della Tosse. Until February 22, guided tours “Do you know Genoa?”: every Saturday in February, guided tours in Italian of about two hours in the historic center of Genoa. Departures at 2:30 PM, from the tourist information office of the Porto Antico, just a few meters from our marina in Genoa.
February 23, “A Carnival of Yesteryear”: a special event curated by the ATS network at the Museo della Certosa in Genoa, with activities for adults and children including guided tours and creative workshops, strictly – for children – in costume.

Until February 28, “The Deposits of Sant’Agostino. The Stones Speak”: guided tours of the monumental archive of the city of Genoa, scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday afternoons. Until March 2, exhibition “Art is the Message”: our neighbors at the Galata Museo del Mare, just a few steps from the berths of our tourist port, present a video art exhibition dedicated to the role of art in today’s society.
February 2025: events in Liguria
From February 1 to 3, The Candelora Fair in San Bartolomeo al Mare: the traditional fair enlivens the Ligurian village, with a market, street food, crafts, and typical flavors.
February 2, Portofino Marathon: the 2025 edition will be the first Portofino marathon, starting and finishing in Santa Margherita. From February 10 to 16, Lovers in Camogli: a now traditional event, with three evenings dedicated to lovers with the inevitable “dishes” and themed menus. From February 11 to 15, Sanremo Festival: the Italian music festival returns, now in its 75th edition, once again revolutionizing the Ligurian city with many parallel events.
