The association’s goal is to make this sector increasingly strategic and central for the Ligurian capital: thanks to its long maritime tradition, the expertise of the companies present here, and the presence of the most specialized skills, Genoa can aim for a leading role in the superyacht sector, which is experiencing a period of rapid growth internationally.
Knowing the current economic impact of the sector on the local economy (estimated at 630 million euros in 2024) and the equivalent employment generated (about 3,150 units within the association alone), the Genoese nautical cluster can indeed aim to grow further, leveraging its ability to work as a team.
